Ameena Rasheed is a data entrepreneur and digital fundraising strategist who's dedicated to civic engagement.

Most recently, she was a member of the communications team at the Virginia Senate Democratic Caucus that helped the Virginia Senate Democrats win the Senate majority during the fall 2023 election.

Ameena's impressive track record began in 2013 at the Des Moines Register in Des Moines, Iowa, where she showcased her editorial and project management skills during the 2016 Iowa caucuses and presidential election cycles. Her expertise in content production, digital strategy, and newsletter A/B testing resulted in increased website traffic, higher newsletter open rates, and substantial growth in page views.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ameena actively participates in volunteer and leadership roles. She serves as a phone outreach volunteer for the Baylor Teen Health Clinic through the Junior League of Houston, a League of Women Voters Houston's Board of Trustees member, and an active Houston Area Urban League Young Profession member.

Recognized as one of the "10 Black Women to Know in PR, Tech & Digital Media" by EBONY magazine in 2017, Ameena's exceptional experience positions her as a valuable asset to any organization seeking to leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

Ameena holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas Southern University.
